About the Summer Reading Workshop

For public youth services librarians and all other interested individuals. Invite your director or other youth services staff!

Benefits of a statewide summer reading club:
Manual, program plans, booklists, Internet resources, publicity samples, custom clipart (provided in print and online), giveaways, banners, posters, reading club prizes, bookmarks and more! Some free, some discounted. Featuring professionally designed "Read and Grow @ your library" artwork.

Speakers:
Why?   Leslie Burger, former NJLA president and director, Princeton Public Library

Public Relations:   Tim Quinn, public information director, Princeton Public Library

Read and Grow skit:   Anne Lemay, author of Dog Days and Winter Ways: Skits to promote reading all year long

Demonstrations:
Crafts, Gardening / Botany for children and teens.

Idea Exchange:
An opportunity to discuss book groups, volunteers, and programming for diverse age groups.
